I just realized that Douglas Trumbull is a visual hero. Rebecca, get into this. Dude directed the special effects for 2001, The Andromeda Strain, and Blade Runner, three of the best-styled science fiction films of all time. He also invented a kind of film called “Showscan,” which projects at 60 frames per second and is more “D” than HD.
